Bob Wilson (born 1929, Arlington, Massachusetts) is a retired American radio personality who served as the longtime voice of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League. In 1987, Wilson was honoured with the Foster Hewitt Memorial Award, enshrining him in the broadcasters' wing of the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. Wilson's booming baritone voice and his ability to articulate for radio listeners the dynamic flow and possession changes of ice hockey distinguished him from his peers. In the summer of 1971, he returned to Boston when WBZ restored him to the radio play-by-play post after Boston hockey legend Fred Cusick switched to the Bruins' TV network. In Wilson's first year back, he called the Bruins' 1972 Cup win - the team's most recent.
