DVDFILE.COM: Boccaccio ë70 Review (642 words)
Destined to remembered most furtively for being the ë1/2' in Federico Fellini's oeuvre (hence 8 1/2), Boccaccio '70 is one of those rare releases that makes one want to reach out to the inventors of DVD and offer them a giant, sloppy kiss.
What Boccaccio '70 ends up being is a marvelously bizarre exploration of the male libido by four filmmakers who have both massive sex drives (Fellini once said that a day without lovemaking is a day wasted) and extraordinary talents.
I was expecting Boccaccio '70 to have a mid-ranged transfer that didn't pay much attention to the details of the film, but No Shame Entertainment has really knocked it out of the park with this one.
