Bochnia County (Polishpowiat bocheński ) is a unit of territorial administration and local government in the Poland, created on 1st January1999 as a result of the Local Government Reorganization Act of 1998.
At the end of 1941 the County of Cracau was divided in the Town of Cracau (Kreisfreie Stadt Krakau) and twelve districts.
The first ghetto of the Cracau county was installed in Cracau, on March 21, 1941.
In April, 1942, not only in the County of Cracau, hundreds of people, who were supposed to be members of left-wing organizations, were taken out of their homes and shot on cemeteries.
