For Linda Weinberger, the significance and impact of the exchange was found in a small Bohodukhiv museum in which an entire wall was dedicated to the Bohodukhiv-Boyertown Sister Cities exchange program.
Since Bohodukhiv is a small town, like Boyertown, it is not a typical tourist location, and students and residents were eager to see and talk to the Americans.
Bohodukhiv has been working on developing its infrastructure and has made a number of improvements since the last teacher exchange in 1992, when Donna Jorgenson, Arlene Christ and Brenda Bartholomew visited.
