Geography

Bolckow is located at 40°6'49" North, 94°49'19" West (40.113698, _94.822051)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²). 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 234 people, 89 households, and 64 families residing in the city. The population density is 282.3/km² (720.2/mi²). There are 98 housing units at an average density of 118.2/km² (301.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 99.57% White, 0.00% African American, 0.43% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 89 households out of which 37.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.9% are married couples living together, 9.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 27.0% are non-families. 21.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 4.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.63 and the average family size is 3.05.
