Bolivar County is a county located in the Mississippi Delta region of the U.S. state of Mississippi. As of 2000, the population was 40,633. It is named in honor of Simón Bolívar, leader of the liberation of several South American countries from Spain in the early 19th century. Its county seats are Rosedale and Cleveland6.
