According to [uniquecarsandparts.com], three Bolwell brothers started an Australian company that initially produced kit cars for assembly by the buyers. The brothers each designed their own car (Mk I, Mk II and Mk III).
The Bolwell Nagari, known as the Mk VIII, was their first full-production sports car, and included 127 coupes and 13 convertibles. The Nagari was manufactured from 1969 to 1972. The Nagari was the best known out of 9 cars: the Mk IV, Mk V, Mk VI, mk VII , Mk VIII and Mk IX (Mkix). The Nagari featured a Ford 302 or 351 cubic inch V8 that sat in its 920 kg. body. It is a very light, muscle car with looks influenced by other manufacturers such as Lotus and Lamborghini.
