Americans (from Kentucky) changed this to "Bone Pass", as though it were a "pass" through a mountain range. This was then changed to "Bone Gap", as in the Cumberland Gap. A Town Without Roads With the exception of the main highway into town, there are no roads in Bone Gap. The town is connected by a series of alleys, where the sidewalk, when crossing the alley, will actually rise above the road (causing one to have to drive over it like an oversized speed bump).
