To me, Borderline Personality Disorder, aside from all else it represents and the many aspects of it that have been outlined and defined by professionals, is largely a disorder of relating.
Keep in mind that what separates the borderline from the non-borderline is the degree of intensity of the traits defined as being borderline and not any arbitrary criteria that does not also exists in the world of the non-borderline.
