Encyclopedia > Boreray, Saint Kilda

Boreray is an unhibited island in the Saint Kilda archipelago (British Isles, county Isle of Harris) in the North Atlantic, about 52 miles (~83 km) west of North Harris. The National Trust for Scotland is the current owner. Boreray covers about 770,000 mē (~190 acres), and reaches a height of 384 m. Its cliff walls are home for various sea birds.
