Boris Andreyevich Uspensky is a Russian philologist and mythographer. He was born on 1 March 1937 and graduated from the Moscow University in 1960. Uspensky delivered lectures in Moscow until 1992, but later moved on to work in the Harvard University, Vienna University, and the University of Graz. He was elected to many scholarly societies and academies of Europe. Philology is the study of ancient texts and languages. ...
