Spa in Borjomi, before 1915 Borjomi (Georgian: ბორჯომი) is a town and a resort in Kartli province of Eastern Georgia with a population of 32,422. It is one of the districts of Samtskhe-Javakheti. It is situated in the western part of the province, in the picturusque Borjomi Gorge on the eastern edge of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. The town is famous for its mineral waters industry, which at present, is the number one export of Georgia. Borjomi mineral water is famous in the countries, which were part of the USSR, and the bottling of mineral water is a major source of income for the area.
