Bassetlaw is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
It shares the name of the Bassetlaw district although the boundaries of the two differ; in particular, the constituency does not contain the town of Retford, which is in the Newark constituency.
The boundaries of Bassetlaw County Constituency were virtually unchanged, though local government changes in the 1930s now meant that it was defined as comprising the Boroughs of East Retford and Worksop, the Urban District of Warsop and the Rural Districts of East Retford and Worksop.
