Botahtaung Pagoda (Burmese: ဗုိလ္‌တထောင္‌ဘုရား; also spelt Botataung; literally "1000 military officers") is a famous pagoda located in downtown Yangon, Yangon Division, Myanmar. It was built during the time period Shwedagon Pagoda was built, and was originally known as Kyaik-de-att in Mon. The pagoda is hollow within and houses a sacred hair of Gautama Buddha.
