Botch was a mathcore band from Tacoma, Washington, that formed in 1993 and disbanded in 2002. The band released two full-length albums and a handful of smaller releases including several singles and an EP. Their second album, "We Are The Romans" is considered influential on contemporary hardcore and metal. Its members went on to form Roy, Minus the Bear, and These Arms are Snakes among others. Decibel Magazine inducted We Are the Romans into its Hall of Fame in November 2005. Hydrahead Records plans to release four new Botch items. Included are Unifying Themes Redux, a collection of early 7" songs, compilations, and other rarities. The second is a re-release of American Nervoso which is being remixed by Botch and producer Matt Bayles. The re-issue is scheduled to be released in early 2007. A long-awaited DVD and CD release of Botch's final performance at Seattle's Showbox, entitled "061502", has been scheduled for a December 5th, 2006 release on Hydrahead Records.
