The Bradbury Class starship is an experimental design with a very unique appearance among other Federation starships. The ship features a double secondary hull, placed side-by-side and under the oval shaped primary hull. Having two lower hulls also gives the ship two forward deflector dishes. The warp engines are mounted tight against the top of each lower hull, rather than on pylons, giving the ship a sleek and compact look with a slimmer profile. The front part of the ship's warp engines begin mounted flush with the saucer section port and starboard and pass through the saucer. The class of ship was apparently named after Ray Bradbury, a 20th Century Earth author.
