Anasta's switch to the Roosters initially failed to live up to expectations. On 26th July he was reported to have suffered a groin injury which put him out of the remainder of the 2006 NRL season.[citation needed]

After undergoing surgery on his groin late 2006, Braith has been back to 100% fitness, and has been playing without any trouble from his groin during the 2007 NRL season and the Roosters' 100th season.[citation needed]


Despite the Rooster's failure to make to finals for the third consecutive year, 2007 has been perhaps Anasta's finest season and he has consistently been the Roosters' best player.[citation needed]


His Greek heritage makes Anasta eligible to represent the Greek national rugby league team. The Greece national rugby league team has been participating in international competition since 2003. ...


Braith Anasta recently re-signed at the Sydney Roosters, until 2011.
