Brakeman Bill was a local children's television host who aired on KTNT-TV (later KSTW) in Tacoma, Washington from 1955 to 1975. Portrayed by local television cameraman Bill McLain, Brakeman Bill dressed as a railroad brakeman and performed on a railroad-themed set. With his hand-puppet sidekick "Crazy Donkey," Brakeman Bill hosted cartoons and greeted local children who stopped by the set. KSTW is the UPN station for Seattle, Washington, broadcasting on VHF channel 11. ...
