Brandon Simone Armstrong (born June 16, 1980 in San Francisco, California) is a professional basketball player in the NBA. He played college basketball at Pepperdine University, and was selected by the Houston Rockets with the 23rd overall pick of the 2001 NBA Draft, but was traded, along with fellow Rockets draft picks Richard Jefferson and Jason Collins to the New Jersey Nets in exchange for the draft rights to New Jersey's Eddie Griffin. In three seasons with the Nets, Armstrong averaged 2.2 points per game. He was admired by many of his fellow teammates. Eubanks, a former hospital surgical room employee, was convicted of gunning down sons Matthew Eubanks, 4; Brigham Eubanks, 6; Austin Eubanks, 7; and BrandonArmstrong, 14, in rage over the breakup of her marriage and a subsequent relationship.
Brandon was the only child of his father, John Armstrong, who divorced Eubanks in 1988.
The sons killed were BrandonArmstrong, 14, and Austin, Brigham and Matthew Eubanks, who were 7, 6 and 4, respectively.
As Brandon grew older it was evident that his traumatic birth had left absolutely no ill effects on him.
Brandon’s House is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Organization founded and dedicated to the memory of BrandonArmstrong and his three little brothers, Austin, Brigham, and Matthew Eubanks.
