Physical description and use The Brannock Device resembles a long oval made of metal. The foot to be measured is placed within this oval, with a sliding pointer along a ruler-like scale to determine length measurement. There is also a protrusion along the side with another sliding pointer to gauge foot width. The exact size and colour is different depending on the model of Brannock Device.
