Encyclopedia > Breaker High

Breaker High was a short-lived Canadian television series that ran from 1997 to 1998. The series was set at a high school located on a cruise ship, allowing the episodes to be set in a variety of exotic "locations". The eight main characters, each possessing a different teenage stereotype, were: Alex Pineda (the athlete), Ashley Dupree (the spoilt Southern belle), Sean Stanley Hanlon (the nerd), Cassidy Cartwright (the athletic one), Jimmy Mortimor Farrell (the practical joker), Max Ballard (the rebel), Denise Williams (the smart one), and Tamira Goldstein (the hard-working intellectual one). Sizing Hydraulic Breaker (Hammer) (675 words)
The breaker must be sized properly for both the work it will do and the carrier on which it will be mounted.
High frequency breakers tend to provide better performance in this application as it is not the energy per blow, but the fast blow rate that destroys the concrete's structural integrity.
If the desired breaker falls outside of this recommended carrier weight range, the carriers lifting capacity and oil flow will need to be verified to ensure a proper fit.
