Brenda Joyce (born Betty Leabo February 25, 1917 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, USA) was a 5'4" film actress who appeared in many B-movies of the 1940s. She's best remembered for playing Jane (succeeding Maureen O'Sullivan) in the popular Tarzan series, mostly with Johnny Weissmuller, but the final one, Tarzan's Magic Fountain (1949), with Lex Barker as Tarzan.
