Brentley Frazer is a poet/writer and artist born in Australia in 1972. His poetry and other writings has appeared in many of the worlds most reputable literary journals, magazines, anthologies and periodicals, including, The Age, Exquisite Corpse Journal of Letters, Jack Magazine, 3AM Magazine, Rattapallax Magazine, Short Fuse and Moosehead Anthology X. His first book A Dark Samadhi - poems + microtexts was published in 2003 to critical acclaim. In 2001 Brentley founded the cult internet publication Retort Magazine which has gained a reputation as one of the most popular alternative media internet sites to date. In 2003 the Columbia Journalism Review and The Guardian UK placed Retort Magazine in their top 10 web based publications of its kind. In 2004 Brentley relocated from Queensland to the city of Melbourne where he continues to publish Retort Magazine, write and work freelance for a number of news-stand and internet magazines. The Age is a broadsheet daily newspaper, which has been published in Melbourne, Australia since 1854. ...
