Bret Morrison (1911 or 1912 -- 1974) was an actor best known as the voice of The Shadow, old-time radio's mysterious crusader for law and order. Morrison played the part longer than any other actor, spending 10 years in the role in two separate runs. He was also the final actor to play the part in the program's original radio run.
