After completeing his elementary and middle school education at Saint Joseph's School (now Blessed Pope John XXIII Academy), Knight attended Seton Hall Preparatory School in West Orange, New Jersey, leading its basketball team to New Jersey state championships along with Jason Hart, Matthew Mcalinden, and Shawn White his sophomore, junior, and senior years.
