Biography
Personal life Baumgartner was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended Holy Innocents' Episcopal School in Atlanta. He attended high school with future Office co-star Ed Helms, who graduated one year later in the Class of '92. Before moving to Los Angeles, Baumgartner served as Artistic Director of Hidden Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he received multiple awards for artistic and acting excellence. In addition, Baumgartner performed regionally at the Guthrie Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Children's Theater Company and Theatre de la Jeune Lune, which were all special Tony Award recipients.
