Brian Coogan is a keyboard/organ musician from New Orleans, Louisiana. As of 2006 he is in demand in New Orleans playing live "funk, straight-ahead jazz, fusion and experimental jazz." Like many New Orleans musicians, he became displaced after hurricane Katrina, but is working to keep the New Orleans music scene alive.^[1] Recent projects as of early 2007 include The Maelstrom Trio (with Skerik and Simon Lott), Bobby Previte's Coalition of the Willing and playing with Stanton Moore's Trio.
