Brian Fortuna is a professional American ballroom dancer who is best known for his participation in ABC's Dancing With the Stars. He has also appeared as a featured dancer in the Miramax film, The Aviator. Fortuna was the choreographer and dancer in the film "South Beach" starring Vanessa Williams. Brian began dancing at his mother's studio at the age of four. Both of his parents have nationally ranked titles in ballroom and Latin Dancesport. Fortuna graduated from Camden Catholic High School and took three years of Business Marketing at Rutger's University. He was the North American Top Teacher in 2004 and 2005. Those same years, Fortuna was the Imperial Dancesport Champion. Brian specializes in Latin ballroom dancing, which he says to be his favorite type of dance. He is also an instructor and choreographer that specializes in wheelchair ballroom dancing.
Fortuna currently resides in Collingswood, New Jersey where he teaches at Universal Dancesport Center[1].
