Brian Goorjian (born July 28, 1953 in Glendale, California, USA) is a basketball coach for the Sydney Kings and Australian Boomers basketball team. Brian is the NBL's most successful coach with a strike rate of 70% and recently became only the second coach to have coached 600 games. Brian is regarded as Australia's most successful basketball coach. Goorjian's coaching career began in 1988 where he coached the Eastside Melbourne Spectres. Every Goorjian-coached team since 1990 has qualified for the semi finals or better. Brian has won a a total of 5 NBL championships, including 3 in a row with his current team, the Sydney Kings.
