Geography

Brimson is located at 40°8'39" North, 93°44'17" West (40.144230, _93.737977)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²). 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 63 people, 29 households, and 18 families residing in the village. The population density is 270.3/km² (737.9/mi²). There are 36 housing units at an average density of 154.4/km² (421.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 98.41% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.59% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 29 households out of which 34.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.3% are married couples living together, 10.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 37.9% are non-families. 37.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 17.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.17 and the average family size is 2.83.
