The Brisbane Exhibition (more commonly known as the "Ekka") is an annual agricultural and cultural show organised by the Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland (RNA). It began in 1875 and is held annually in August at the RNA Showgrounds in Bowen Hills. The Ekka Loop railway line and Brisbane Transport's Route 500 and 600 bus services provide public transport access to the showground. 1875 was a common year starting on Friday (see link for calendar). ...
