Its Chairman and CEO are Peter R. Dolan, and it is headquartered in New York City. The company was involved in an accounting scandal in 2002. Bristol-Myers Squibb is also on the Forbes 500 list. It holds the solitary contract to harvest yew trees on United States territory. It also holds the license to market Taxol.


Bristol-Myers Squibb is known partially for the fact that Lance Armstrong has appeared in several of the company's marketing campaigns. This is due to the fact that the company helped to combat Armstrong's testicular cancer
