The BC Marijuana Party has recently thrown its support to the New Democratic Party. The party's best election effort was in 1996. The BC Libertarian Party president has rejected the reforms of 1996 that significantly improved the party's standing in elections while simultaneously resolving several longstanding internal Libertaran ideological disputes.
