The British Formula Three Championship, often abbreviated to British F3, is an auto racing championship held in the United Kingdom. It is one of the main Formula Three competitions in Europe. Occasionally some races are held in Europe that are outside the UK. Since the majority of Formula One teams are based in Britain, the championship is an important showcase for aspiring young drivers from all over the world, making it the most prestigous of the national F3 championships.
