History
The school was founded by its first headmistress, Mary J. Cosyn, in 1954 and, under her ownership and management, was known as The English School of Paris until her retirement in 1980. The British School of Paris (BSP) is a British school in the Ile-de-France, France. ...
In 1981, with the encouragement of the British Embassy, it was acquired by the non-profit making Association for English Education in Paris and renamed The "British School of Paris". The BSP celebrated its 50th anniversary as a school in 2004.
