  • European (as a geographical term) = A person living within the continent of Europe.
  • European (as citizenship) = A person resident of the European Union.
  • British (as a geographical term) = A person living within the British Isles; Great Britain + Ireland + many smaller surrounding islands.
  • British (by nationality) = A national of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland a sovereign state.
  • English (as a geographical term) = A person born in England or to English parents.
  • Scotish (as a geographical term) = A person born in Scotland or to Scotish parents.
  • Welsh (as a geographical term) = A person born in Wales or to Welsh parents.
