Toronto—Danforth is a Canadian federal and provincial electoral district, or riding. This riding represents the Danforth area of Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the Canadian parliament. The riding was created in 1976 under the name Broadview—Greenwood out of Broadview and portions of York East. It was renamed Toronto—Danforth in 1996 on the suggestion of Dennis Mills, the riding's Member of Parliament. Toronto-Danforth includes a vibrant array of ethnicities, including large Greek, Chinese, Muslim and East-Indian communities. The riding is bounded on the north and west by the Don River, on the south by Lake Ontario, and on the east by Coxwell Avenue.
