Talent agent "Broadway"DannyRose (Allen) represents countless incompetent entertainers and one talented one: washed-up lounge singer Lou Canova (Nick Apollo Forte), whose career is on the rebound.
At the singer's insistence, DannyRose masquerades as Farrow's boyfriend to divert attention from the affair.
However, Rose is unaware that she is also dating the gangster; this forces Allen and Farrow to flee from the Mafia and lands them in a number of comical situations.
