Luckily Kenai - who had heard of Koda's plan through Rutt and Tuke - comes to rescue his little brother but he too is pursued. By this time, Nita's finally decided to follow her heart and not go through with her arranged marriage. She sees what's happening and rushes to save the bears. With help from the moose, Koda is rescued unharmed. However, Kenai is almost killed by the thoughtless Atka. Outraged, Nita dumps Atka on the spot and then rushes to Kenai's aid.
