Brumley is a town located in Miller County, Missouri. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 102.

Geography

Brumley is located at 38°5'11" North, 92°29'13" West (38.086442, _92.487045)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.2 km² (0.5 mi²). 1.2 km² (0.5 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 102 people, 41 households, and 27 families residing in the town. The population density is 82.0/km² (211.3/mi²). There are 49 housing units at an average density of 39.4/km² (101.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 86.27% White, 0.00% African American, 7.84% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 5.88% from two or more races. 3.92% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 41 households out of which 31.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.8% are married couples living together, 9.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 34.1% are non-families. 31.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.49 and the average family size is 3.07.

In the town the population is spread out with 28.4% under the age of 18, 5.9% from 18 to 24, 26.5% from 25 to 44, 23.5% from 45 to 64, and 15.7% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 36 years. For every 100 females there are 126.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 102.8 males.
