Bruno Hoffmann (b. Stuttgart, Germany, 1913; d. 1991) was a German player of the glass harp. His instrument consisted of a set of wine glasses mounted in a wooden box, whose rims were rubbed to produce a tone similar to the glass harmonica. He began developing the instrument in 1929 and his repertoire included works originally written for Benjamin Franklin's glass harmonica, such as those written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
