Brush Motor Company was founded by Alanson P. Brush who designed a light car with wooden chassis, friction drive and coil springs. The company formed part - beyond others - of the United States Motor Company from 1910 and failed in 1913.

History: Alanson P. Brush founded the Brush Motor Company, which became a part of the United States Motor Company (USMC) in 1910.
Benjamin Briscoe opened the United States Motor Company in 1910 to provide needed financial backing to some of the independent automobile makers, such as the Brush Motor Car Company.
However it didn't work out and the USMC was bankrupt two years later, which ended the Brush Motor Car Company.
