The Bryant Bulldogs are the athletic teams representing Bryant University in North Smithfield, Rhode Island. The Bulldogs participate in NCAA Division II competition as a member of the Northeast-10 Conference. Bryant's largest rivalry is Bentley College, both founders of the Northeast-10 and both have prominent business programs. History

Bryant University originally competed in the NAIA. The Competed in the NAIA until 1979. Where they transitioned to Division II and became a charter member of the Northeast-10 Conference. Bryant also used to be called the Indians. They had a campus wide vote and in 1993, they changed their nickname from the Indians to the bulldogs. Their current mascot, a bulldog, resides at the presidents house. He is known to the campus as Tupper the bulldog.

Bryant has won the President's Cup 3 times. They won in 2004, 2005, and 2007. They lost in 2006 by 1 point to Stonehill College. Recently Bryant has been looking at a transition to Division I, Football Championship Subdivision, they are looking at four conferences. The conferences are the America East Conference, MAAC, Northeast Conference and the Patriot League.
