Bubb Rubb is the nom de guerre of a resident of Oakland, California who became an internet cult figure when a report carried by a local news affiliate (KRON) interviewed him on the burgeoning Whistle tips phenomenon. He and fellow interviewee Lil' Sis provided numerous soundbytes that became a wildly popular internet sensation, persisting for several years. A pseudonym or allonym is a name (sometimes legally adopted, sometimes purely fictitious) used by an individual as an alternative to their birth name. ...
