Bubión is a village in the Alpujarras region of Granada in the community of Andalucía, Spain. It is located at latitude 36º 57' N, Longitude 3º 21' E, at 1300 metres above sea level. Together with Capileira (to the north) and Pampaneira (to the south) it forms a group often called the "white villages", which have become a focus for the tourist trade in the Alpujarras, because of their spectacular location on the gorge of the Rio Poqueira.
