Encyclopedia > Buckhorn, Ontario

Buckhorn is an area in the township of Galway-Cavendish-Harvey, in Peterborough County, Ontario. As of 2001, the population was 4,372, down from a 1996 population of 4,400 (-0.6%). Its total land area is 848.21 square kilometres. It is located on the Trent-Severn Waterway, and is just south of Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park.
