The Buddha Promo demo was released in very limited quantities, and was only released to promote Buddha. It features some songs that were not available until Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch were released such as: Princess Leia (Early version of A New Hope (song)), Strung Out (Early version of Enthused), Ben Wah Balls, Does My Breath Smell?, and Wasting Time. It also includes an early version of the song "Voyeur" off Dude Ranch, which has a similar concept to the Dude Ranch but it has completely different riffs and lyrics. John Corda of Mashed Buddha will be performing this Sunday, Sept 17th at the Barley Pub in Dover, NH for those of you in that area or the Boston area.
Aural Innovations has put Mashed Buddha on the playlist for their Drool Trough radio show, which is part of several shows of music that they like to call Space Rock, which encompasses a broad range of experimental styles including stoner rock, psychedelia and related electronic music.
The Mashed Buddha CD has been mastered and four of the final tracks are on the sounds page.
