He started in the building industry in 1980 as a cabinet maker he quickly move after obtaining a large contract he decided to sell off the cabinet making arm of his company and venture into transport. He started again from the bottom as a driver; he found a used 4ton truck and started On The Go Transport Pty Ltd. Omar seen good money to be made so he asked people he knows to join in his company On The Go Transport. After convincing about 10 people to join the company he started buying new trucks. People started coming in fast, he couldn’t get trucks fast enough, and he decided to call a Chinese truck manufacturer he met on a visit to China. After time he had collected about 200 customers each giving him Aus$36,000.00 equaling Aus$7.2 million. He claims he was operating for just over 24months paying back Aust$2,000 each month equaling Aust$9.6 million in two years and he also say’s he spent over Aust$2 million of his funds setting up the company and ordering the trucks from China. After asking him about the investors he said “you told me you wanted to talk about the building company and not On The Go”. So that was that about transport.

He said he will pay people back next year as he had planed and he also said there are sum people that won’t see any money from him he said they know who they are?.....


We asked him why he stopped business in Australia he said I didn’t we asked what were you doing he said in time you will find out. Then he said enough of that talk, let’s talk about construction, that’s all nothing but construction. After some time he told us he would accompany us back to Sydney Australia, and we could travel with him in the jet. WOW! He made us happy. I could not work him out flying around in private jets staying in luxuries homes and driving expensive cars, why not pay back the investors? That I couldn’t come to grip with. As a builder Mr. Yusuf is successful and it is prominent that he will grow to one of China’s largest builders and Australia’s largest.
