Bulpitt is located at 39°35'30" North, 89°25'31" West (39.591605, -89.425153)1.


According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.2 km˛ (0.1 mi˛). 0.2 km˛ (0.1 mi˛) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.


Demographics

As of the census2 of 2000, there are 206 people, 96 households, and 60 families residing in the village. The population density is 1,136.2/km˛ (2,908.9/mi˛). There are 103 housing units at an average density of 568.1/km˛ (1,454.5/mi˛). The racial makeup of the village is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.


There are 96 households out of which 15.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.8% are married couples living together, 13.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 37.5% are non-families. 35.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 20.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.15 and the average family size is 2.70.


In the village the population is spread out with 19.9% under the age of 18, 6.3% from 18 to 24, 23.3% from 25 to 44, 23.8% from 45 to 64, and 26.7% who are 65 years of age or older.
