Around Abu Dhabi many Yellow-bellied house geckoes (Hemidactylus flaviridis) were observed at night catching insects around outside lamps.
Dwarf rock geckoes (Pristurus rupestris) were active during the day, and under old pieces of wood or board the Abu Dhabi gecko (Bunopus tuberculatus) was found.
Several Jayakari's agamids (Agama jayakari) were recorded in mountain areas, replaced in some regions by the Blue-grey rock agamid (Agama sinaita).
